Papaya Facial Mask Recipe

Papaya Face mask for oily skin

Take fresh juice of any of the fruits (orange, sweet lime, watermelon or papaya) and apply on the face as a mask. This is very relaxing, it cleanses the skin, closes pores and stimulates blood circulation.

How to Make a Papaya Facial Mask

Peel and remove the seeds from a ripe papaya. Chop it into small pieces and blend in a blender or food processor until a very smooth paste is formed. Apply the facial to cleansed neck and face, but not around the eye area. Wait 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

Papaya Face mask for dry skin

For dry skin, mash a ripe banana with a little plain honey and leave it on for 15 minutes, rinsing well with warm water.

Homemade papaya Facial Mask Recipe

Peel and remove seeds. Chop into pieces and drop into food processor. Puree until papaya is the consistancy of baby food. Use 1/2 a tablespoon for each facial. Keep leftovers in a baggie in the frig. Research shows that it is one of the best non-abrasive masks that you can use. It contains a strong enzyme called papain which dissolves oil and dead skin cells.

Papaya Fruit Facial Mask

¼ of a ripe papaya

4 teaspoons of green cosmetic clay

1 ½ teaspoons of aloe vera gel

Purée the papaya fruit, clay, and aloe vera gel together. Smooth the mixture over the face and neck regions and leave it on the skin for approximately 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
