Use of gelatine as a setting lotion

Question: I have heard that gelatine can be used as a setting lotion.  How does one use it?

Answer: Gelatine is an excellent material for making a setting lotion. It gives body to limp hair and being a source of protein, it nourishes the hair. Dissolve 2 tsp of gelatine in 2 cups of boiling water. Use this for the final rinse of the hair.
